“And don’t forget to look up: 72 individual floating shapes, fashioned from sound-absorbing Tectum panels, hover overhead. Hassing calls it “artful chaos,” using the floating installation to reduce sound created by the 11-foot ceilings, while countering the “practical chaos” of the exposed lights, AC, and heating ducts. In short, NoBo Mrkt is also a feast for the eyes.”

In the icy North there are times when sheets of ice will cover the walks. In that case, shovels are all but useless. They will be ineffective and you may end up breaking them.
An ice chopper is the right tool for the job. With a strong rigid blade it makes it easy work to break, chop and/or scrape the ice right off the walk surface. Follow up with your shovel to remove the loose ice chunks.
Power Washer
I was blown away the first time I used a power washer. Without soap, just the hose water spray, it was able to make our decks and siding look like new again when I thought we were on the verge of having to replace it all.
I highly recommend power-washing exterior wood and/or anything growing funky outside. But if you purchase a washer you might sacrifice power in order to save some money since you only use it maybe once a year. You can rent a high-quality machine for a nominal cost and it will make short work of all of your needs, and you’ll never have to concern yourself with maintenance of the machine.
